VICO Manufacturing provides oil and gas manufacturing from our 42,000-square-foot facility in South Houston, TX. Since 1984, we have built components that hold up under high pressure, extreme temperatures, and heavy use, with machining, fabrication, laser cutting, and wire EDM all handled in-house.
Oil and Gas Machining and Fabrication Capabilities

- Precision machining services on CNC mills, lathes, and multi-axis equipment, plus manual machining for one-off repair and legacy parts
- Metal fabrication services, including MIG and TIG welding and CNC brake press forming up to 200 tons
- Heavy-gauge laser cutting of carbon steel plate up to two inches thick
- Wire EDM for hardened alloys and tight-tolerance features
Typical work includes components for drilling systems, parts for processing equipment, downhole and valve components, welded assemblies, and replacement parts for worn or discontinued equipment.
Materials and Quality for Demanding Environments
We match materials to the conditions a part will see in service, including carbon steel, stainless and alloy steels, hardened tool steels, Inconel and other nickel-based superalloys, and titanium. Every job is checked against the drawing, and first article inspections confirm accuracy before production begins.

Our South Houston shop sits close to the Houston Ship Channel and the operators and service companies along the Gulf Coast, which makes sample drop-offs, pickups, and in-person meetings easy. Can you cut heavy steel plate for oil and gas equipment?
Yes. Our Bodor fiber laser cuts carbon steel plate up to two inches thick in-house, and parts move directly into machining, welding, and forming in the same facility, so heavy-section components never wait on an outside vendor.
What are your lead times for oil and gas parts?
About 80% of inquiries receive a quote within 24 hours. Production lead times depend on material, thickness, and volume, and because every process is in-house, parts do not wait on outside vendors.
What tolerances can you hold?
Our CNC machining holds tight tolerances across production runs, and our wire EDM work holds about ±0.0002 inch as standard, down to ±0.0001 inch where required.
